“ Absolutely spectacular. New ownership, so whatever you knew about this place, try it again. Owners are very friendly, staff is a bit overworked in busy periods but does well nonetheless and the food is quite wonderful. Burgers are great (fresh meat), fries are amazing, and the mussels were superb. With so many superlatives used, you should already be convinced. Since it’s right on one of the best beaches in Britain, and next to a surf shop and school, you should give it a try. Live music Fri/Sat/Wed evenings and something subtle all day Sunday in the summer. Highly recommended. ”
“ LULA SHACK REOPENS AT GWITHIAN BEACH - THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC AND NOT TO BE MISSED What a great find. Hidden away on the Hayle Estuary. Its own little beach leading to the main Hayle beach... Great food and reasonably priced. I had the ribs and chicken with chips and salad. Mac and cheese for my daughter and shrimp tortilla for the wife. All very impressed and most definately worth a visit. Can get busy in the evening so get there early. (Eat indoors or loads of nice outdoor tables) beach heaven! Please come and support this local business. Once you have been here you will want to come back. Still a shame they were forced to move but kept it local. x ”
“ Fabulous find and atmosphere at Lula's. Great service despite the long queues the staff are well organised. Great food selection for vegetarians. Car parking nearby for those who need it, Lula's refund this if you spend over 20 at the bar. We were lucky enough to call on Sunday when there was live music on fantastic with sea views adding to it. Lots of seating inside, at the front near the outside music area and at the back. ”

“ A lovely setting on the Gwithian to Godrevey road.We had walked past other local beach cafes for a beer but Lula Shack drew us in,seeming the most welcoming. Having ordered beers,it seemed so nice there,we ordered food.We both settled for the Dirty Fries with Pulled Pork,Alabama Sauce and Fries for 11.50.It was wonderful and filling. Followed by a Sticky Toffee Sundae. Top pub grub. Do try the Peach Beer they do,its very refreshing.As good as any festival beer I've had over the years,if not better.Theres also their own stout but I havent tried that yet. ”
“ On the special board was blackened salmon chowder and it was the best meal I've had all year. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the chowder was creamy and delicious. It was 15 which was a very fair price. My partner has the loaded veggie fries and was happy too. Place is dog friendly which is a bonus ”
